Development and implementation of hoypitality-programs at major events

    FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany, 2006 Olympic Winter Games Torino, UEFA EURO in Switzerland & Austria 2008
  • Initial Situation
    Ticket demand exceeded the offer by far: unlike the Olympic Games, FIFA and UEFA chose a drawing procedure that sold the tickets directly.

    FIFA and UEFA installed an extensive hospitality program and allocated according ticket contingents to fulfil the needs of the financially strong companies:

    • FIFA sold the ticket distribution rights to iSe. Felten & Cie managed to negotiate a sales agreement with iSe and procured approx. 1’000 tickets to its customers.
    • UEFA sold the ticket distribution rights to IMG. Felten & Cie connected 4 clients from 2006.
    • Olympic Games: Direct purchase of tickets and co-operation with the IIHF for hospitality programs.
  • Objective
    To create a premium platform for customer acquisition and above all for customer loyalty.
  • Implemetation

    FIFA World Cup 2006, Germany:

    • Realisation of the entire event for two private banks.
    • Planning and Accompaniment for other clients.
     

    UEFA EURO 2008, Switzerland & Austria 2008:

    • Ticket services for several clients
    • Project planning for established clients as well as new clients in Basle, Geneva, Berne, Salzburg and Vienna.

    2006 Olympic Winter Games Torino:

    • Realisation of a hospitality program for a client in the framework of a sponsorship- and event concept together with IIHF.

  • Results
    Clients reported significant increase in AUM.
